OUR PHILOSOPHY
A Place to Feel Safe, Supported & Free to Grow.
At Humble Beginnings, we believe children thrive when they feel secure, understood, and encouraged to explore the world around them.
Our approach nurtures the whole child, supporting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through meaningful relationships, purposeful play, and everyday experiences.

Humble Beginnings was created to feel warm, familiar, and welcoming while providing the structure and enrichment children need as they grow. Smaller group sizes allow our caregivers to truly get to know each child, respond to their individual needs, and provide more personalized attention throughout the day.
Our spaces encourage children to move, create, play, read, interact, and explore, with dedicated areas for learning and a safe outdoor environment that gives children plenty of room for active play and discovery.

OUR APPROACH
Big Growth Happens in Everyday Moments.
Children are learning all day long, not only during structured lessons. A conversation with a friend can build communication skills. Cleaning up can encourage independence. Outdoor play develops coordination and confidence. Working through a difficult moment helps children begin to understand their emotions.
At Humble Beginnings, we intentionally make room for all of it.

PERSONALIZED CARE
A nurturing environment where children can feel comfortable, cared for, and secure.

EXPLORE + DISCOVER
Opportunities to play, experiment, ask questions, and follow their natural curiosity.

CONNECT WITH OTHERS
Daily experiences that encourage communication, empathy, cooperation, and meaningful relationships.

GROW WITH CONFIDENCE
Patient guidance and age-appropriate independence help children discover what they're capable of.
MEET RICHELLE
Built From a Genuine Love for Helping Children Grow.
Richelle Ash brings more than 20 years of childcare experience to Humble Beginnings, along with continued education in Early Childhood Education and a deep understanding of how meaningful the earliest years of a child's life can be.
Her approach is hands-on, intentional, and rooted in relationships. Richelle believes children deserve more than a safe place to spend the day. They deserve an environment where they are known as individuals, encouraged to discover who they are, and given opportunities to develop the skills and confidence they'll carry into the next stage of life.
